Challenge Rules & Participation Term
1. Purpose of the Challenge
The challenge aims to collect multiple independent technical approaches to a real industrial problem provided by a partner company. The goal is evaluation and comparison of solutions, not guaranteed implementation.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to professionals with proven technical background relevant to the challenge domain.
Strive reserves the right to limit or refuse participation to ensure solution quality.

3. Challenge Duration
Each challenge has a fixed duration, typically 7–21 days, clearly specified in the challenge brief.
Late submissions will not be considered.

4. Expected Deliverables
Participants must submit:

a clear description of the proposed solution or approach

technical reasoning and assumptions
-
feasibility considerations and constraints
Detailed implementation is not required, unless explicitly stated.

5. Evaluation Criteria
Solutions will be evaluated by the partner company based on:

technical feasibility
-
coherence with constraints
-
clarity and applicability
-
added value compared to internal alternatives
Creativity alone is not sufficient.

6. Prize & Compensation
A total prize pool is defined for each challenge. Prizes are awarded only to solutions deemed technically applicable, according to the evaluation criteria.

Additional applicable solutions: secondary prizes or shortlist rewards
No compensation is guaranteed for non-selected submissions.

7. Intellectual Property

The participant retains authorship of the submitted solution.

The partner company is granted a non-exclusive license to evaluate and potentially use the

solution internally.

Any request for exclusivity or further development will require a separate agreement.

8. No Obligation Clause
Selection of a solution does not imply:

obligation to implement
-
obligation to engage in further collaboration
The challenge is exploratory by nature.

9. Payment Terms

Payments are processed within 14 days from selection

Compensation is issued via invoice or equivalent legal form, according to participant status
Strive acts as coordination and facilitation entity.

10. Confidentiality
Participants agree to treat challenge materials and company information as confidential. Public disclosure without authorization is prohibited.
11. Acceptance
By submitting a solution, participants confirm acceptance of these terms in full.
